How do I choose Light, Dark or System appearance?
On versions with Appearance controls, open Appearance in the web navigation sidebar or Settings in the mobile app. On a narrow web screen, open the navigation menu first. Choose Light, Dark or System.
System follows your device's light or dark setting. Choosing Light or Dark keeps that appearance even when your device's setting changes. Application pages, forms and dialogs follow your choice; documents, receipts, photos and original artwork keep their own colors.
If you do not see Appearance, your current version has not received these controls yet. Appearance does not change your payment amounts, payment choices or notification delivery preferences.
