How do I create a lease?
Use the Lease Wizard from the Leases page or from a property. It walks you through tenants, dates, rent, deposits, pets, utilities, rules, and your state's required disclosures.
The wizard knows the lease rules for all 50 states plus DC - things like deposit caps and required disclosures - and warns you when something does not comply.
Generating a lease creates a draft. Nothing is sent to your tenant until you send it for signatures, so you can review and edit first.
