How do e-signatures work?
Send for Signatures emails each tenant a private signing link. They can review the full lease and sign online - no account or app needed. Links stay valid for 30 days, and you can resend a fresh one anytime.
Signers can type their legal name or draw their signature with a finger or mouse - on the emailed signing link, in the tenant portal, on your countersign, and in the mobile app. The typed legal name is always required as the electronic signature record; a drawn signature appears as real handwriting on the PDF.
After all tenants have signed, you countersign, and the lease becomes active. Activation also creates the monthly rent schedule automatically.
Every signature is recorded in an audit trail, and you can download a certificate of completion.
