How do I record cash, check, or Zelle payments?
Anywhere you see Record Payment or Mark Paid Offline, you can log money you collected outside the app - cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, bank transfer, credit card, Cash App, or other.
You can add the date, a reference number (like a check number), and notes. The month shows as Paid Offline, appears in Transaction History, and both sides can download a receipt.
Recording captures both the amount expected and the amount received for the month. On a multi-family property it works per unit, and bulk edits apply one set of details to all the months you select.
Partial amounts are fine - record what was received and the month stays open for the balance.
